Welcome to Pictou Veterinary Clinic

KEEPING THE PETS OF PICTOU, NOVA SCOTIA HEALTHY FOR OVER 20 YEARS

Pictou Veterinary Clinic is open 3 days a week to provide exceptional veterinary care to the Novia Scotia community. We are always growing and looking to find new ways to be of service.

Pictou Veterinary Clinic

The Pictou Veterinary Clinic began in 2000 in a very casual way. Dr. Bruce Robb bought the "old RCMP building," renovated it, equipped it and then came here to do paperwork away from the hustle and bustle of the New Glasgow Veterinary Clinic. He soon was "discovered" and found himself doing appointments along with the paperwork. A full-time receptionist (Wendy) was hired to answer the phone, batch book appointments and sell some food. Finally, in the fall of 2007, he decided there was too much demand in Pictou for this casual approach and he placed Dr. Brenda Spence-MacLeod at the PVC in a permanent, part-time position. Dr Brenda Spence-MacLeod retired in June 2022 and the patients of Pictou Veterinary Clinic are now tended to by Dr. Jamie Linthorne and her wonderful technicians, assistants, and receptionists.

We still depend on our parent, the New Glasgow Vet Clinic for support in some services, but we hope and plan to continue our pattern of growth and service to this community.
